Santa Claus Oath
Be it known that on May 30th, 2009 the members and guests of The Palm Tree Santas recited as a group and set forth their signatures in pledging to the principles of the Santa Claus Oath.

Santa-America is a non-profit, tax-exempt, national volunteer service organization that brings unconditional love, hope, and joy to special children and their families in hospice, bereavement, chronic pediatric care, or post traumatic stress.
Santa-America has over one-hundred authentically costumed, fully bearded, backgrounded, and highly trained Santas—sensitive to the special needs of our special children, their siblings, and parents in crisis. Our family visits are warm and loving, meaningful and credible. We build on past memories and create new, lasting memories 365 days a year.

Santa-America recently launched a new initiative with the Autism Society of America to provide specially designed experiences with Santa for children and families dealing with Autism. We are also working with the Wounded Warrior Transition units of the US Army to provide support for wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families.
Santa Claus (George Caso) is a volunteer with Santa America, TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care in Florida and Aurora Health Care Systems in Wisconsin. Santa George with his certified Therapy Dog "Griffin" make visits year round as directed by those institutions. Santa of course is recognized almost immediately, but it is Griffin who steals the visit with his gentle demeanor, kisses, desire to cuddle and have his tummy rubbed who patients immediately comforted by. Griffin is certified by Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. Therapy dogs and their handlers receive many benefits including primary accident and liability insurance within the United States, therapy dog equipment such as a leash and tag, ID card identify their qualifications.

The Charles W. Howard (CWH) Santa Claus School, a non-profit organization, was established in 1937 and is the longest continuously running Santa Claus School in the world. Thomas Valent is the present Dean of the internationally recognized Santa School.

International Order of Santas
The International Order of Santas was established in 2008 to provide a forum for Santas, Mrs. Santas, Elves and those interested in Santa and the Christmas Season. The Order provides a means, primarily through the Internet for the group to communicate and discuss mutual interests. An annual meeting is held in January each year in Southern California.

Real Bearded Santas
FIRBSantas has been established to enhance the fellowship, knowledge, growth, and enjoyment of the portrayal of Santa Claus and his many namesakes (Père Noël, Father Christmas, Sinter Klaus, etc.) by gentlemen across the globe who are privileged to wear and maintain their own real beard throughout the year. FIRBSantas, as an organization and as a fraternity of like-minded men, will be a place where one can draw from the experiences of others, thereby increasing the joy given to children regardless of age, in every encounter. In as much as these gentlemen are recognized everyday of their lives as Santa this fraternity will be dedicated to the uniqueness of being a Real Bearded Santa.
